Joiava Philpott is an accomplished corporate executive and legal strategist having guided public and private companies through complex regulatory environments, enterprise risk, and large-scale transformation. With a JD and MBA in Corporate Finance, she brings deep expertise advising C-suite leaders during periods of accelerated change. She previously served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Cox Communications—the largest privately held U.S. telecom provider ($13.5B)—and later at parent company Cox Enterprises ($23B). Earlier, Joiava served as General Counsel of AstroTurf, LLC.
Joiava has served on numerous non-profit boards and is the recipient of multiple notable recognitions, including Savoy Magazine’s Most Influential Lawyers in Corporate America, Leadership Atlanta, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from American University Washington College of Law.
